Hope is at hand…
My first hope as a counsellor is that you will feel both ‘heard and understood’.
I accompany people on an exploration of their inner landscape; a world that is often unseen by others, and perhaps even by themselves.
My therapy practice
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, based in Cheltenham and Hereford working with clients facing a broad range of issues; including being anxious, stressed or feeling ‘lost in the world’; as well as those seeking meaning or purpose in life.
I support individuals coping with significant life changing events such as serious illness, redundancy, divorce or bereavement, and I also help those struggling in relationships or with parenting.
I am a Registered Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
About Me
I bring a wide range of personal and professional experience to my work, and offer a variety of therapeutic approaches within the context of short and longer term counselling.
I hold an Advanced Professional Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling (DipHIC), having studied at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling.
I have spent many years working in different countries as an intercultural consultant for international organisations. In a world rich with diversity this is useful when considering how the cultural context of our everyday environment shapes and influences how we experience life and feel as a person.
I am fully insured, rigorously trained, properly supervised, and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
In additional to being a therapist, I am a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development. (FCIPD). Prior to working in business I served for several years in the British military.
Locations and Fees
I am based in central Cheltenham at The Practice Rooms on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays. I offer sessions between the hours of 8am to 7pm.
On Mondays, I am located in Hereford.
Fees are £65 per session.

“Ultimately, counselling is a process of self-discovery; in which we try to ‘make sense’ of our lives, and come to terms with ourselves.”
